I have a linksys router and need help blocking people from network?

i have a linksys router with 4 people connected, 2 wireless 1 me and 1 xbox wired how can i obtain all of the 192.168.1....... ip address os when i log on the router i dont block someone else from the internet i have options to block internet but i need to know the ip address for there pc i want to block the xbox from the network

Generally the Xbox is either wired into the WAN port of your router, not the LAN port. Your Xbox can only operate wireless if its using the Xbox 360 wireless adapter. You can obtain the Xbox IP by doing the following:





1 Go to the System area of the Xbox Dashboard.


2 Select Network Settings.


3 Select Test Xbox Live Connection.





The system will perform a series of diagnostic tests from that you can click More Info to obtain the IP address itself.





To access your Linksys router setup page, using your browser, you would type in the IP: 192.168.15.1 (do a search for your Linksys router in case it's another IP address, some also use 192.168.16.1) and entering the login name and password. Often the factory default is ';admin'; and ';admin';.





For the Linksys setup menu you can do many things from setting up and controlling Port Forwarding (often used when hosting online games) and limiting what IP addresses you want to connect to your router and more.
