I would like to connect to people with bi-polar out here..to understand the illness, can anybody help?

My older step brother has this disorder or ';condition';..and my younger step sister has it. I would very much like to get ';your takes'; on this disorder and how you have been handling it!


(I know that there are ups and downs..but if you have insight..I would really, really appreciate this!!)

Also my friend who also has bipolar has started up an amazing website. It's abssn.org and if you join up to the forums - http://abssn.org/forums you'll be able to post questions etc about anything to do with it! Hi I'm bipolar and manic also. My husband is bipolar. Its really hard because he gets all depressed at different times and I get manic at different times you know but we still get along weired huh? But we love each other very much. He Rather sit and watch T.V all day I rather clean the house and yell at him for it. see ? well we deal with it. Thank god because He puts up with my Shhiitt! lol '; But I do put up with his also'; :)

You would be better off going on the web site for NAMI. That is the national alliance on mental illness. It is free to join, and you can chat about anything and everything that has to do about mental illness. I have found the site very valuable. No one criticize you there like they do on this site.
It mostly relates to sex. People suffering from Bi-polar disease just want to try nasty stuff in sex and they keep getting themselves into very shitty pornography. But you definately have treatment for the same...so no worries.
