Why Oh Why does my yahoo mail keep asking me if I want to connect with people in my address book?

I am already connected with them ...they are in my address book!!!. Every time I go to my email a couple more names pop up and I have to answer whether I want to connect or not. I can't seem to figure out how to stop it. I have enough important things to do like getting rid of spam without this to deal with. Disable it.


Mail page%26gt;%26gt;options (top right)%26gt;%26gt;mail options.


The ';general'; page opens----(or, you may still have to scroll to and click on ';general preferences';).


Near the top of that page----UN-check the ';Connections'; box and then click ';save'; at the top or bottom of the page.


It will be gone now.
