How can I fix this constant Limited connectivity whenever other people connects on my WRT110 Linksys router?

I recently installed it, and it works fine when I use the internet alone, but as soon as my dad tries to connect, the router produces ';Limited Connectivity'; with the ';!'; yellow signHow can I fix this constant Limited connectivity whenever other people connects on my WRT110 Linksys router?
The most likely cause is that you and your dad's computers are set to use the same IP address. These directions are for Windows XP Pro. You may have to adapt if you're using a different OS:

On each computer, using a account with Administrator privileges, click network connections. Right click on your network adapter then select properties. On the ';General'; tab, select ';Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)'; then click ';Properties';. Verify that ';Obtain an IP address automatically'; is selected. If not, fix it.

See page 10 of the manual for your WRT110, available online at the link below, verify that ';DHCP Server'; is enabled. This means ';Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol';. It is a way for your router to automatically assign unique addresses to each machine. If not, fix it.

Shutdown your computers. Power off your router. Power off your cable or DSL modem. Wait 30 seconds. Power on modem. Wait a minute or so. Power on your router. Wait a minute or so. Power on your computers. The router will assign each computer a unique IP address. This should fix your problem.
