How come people connect with their eyes - almost feels spiritual?

How is it we connect with other people using only our eyes?


We don’t even have to say one word to the other person to know instantly if we are “into” or not “into” that person – how we can have that connection by just being silent.


It’s like a mutual thing too; you know when you’ve made that eye connection with somebody – YOU CAN ALMOST CUT THE CHEMISTRY WITH A KNIFE.


How is it we can almost fall into a deep trance, heavy like, or even love by just repeated eye contact?





It almost feels as if you know the person and on a very spiritual level....How come people connect with their eyes - almost feels spiritual?
Telling by ones eyes if they 'are ';into'; or not ';into';' a person is barely a connection, and far from the level of communication reached by vocalising. The eyes do show a great deal of emotion, but then again so does the face and body. When two people see each other and they each like what they see, there are a few things happening: first of all, lots and lots of happy chemicals are being released in the brain, triggering a reaction not unlike a drug-induced high, then this feeling automatically affects the individual's body-language, facial expression and even their glance, resulting in a trance-like ogling of one another that is only amplified by the repeated glancing away and back, smiling, acting coy maybe, and copious blinking that people in this state exhibit.


The cutting of the chemistry with the knife is simply a matter of social dynamics. Because of our instinctively shallow nature we are constantly evaluating those we see based on compatibility. This is why a geeky-looking nerd will rarely have a ';spiritual'; connection with a super-hottie through the eye portals. People, rationally, will find themselves attracted to compatible mates, going on the assumption that the opposite party will be more likely to reciprocate the potential feelings due to this compatibility. There are exceptions, however, and those may be seen in countless banal romantic comedies.How come people connect with their eyes - almost feels spiritual?

The eyes are a natural and primary source of body language. The eyes and even just very minor subtle changes in facial expression, especially around the eyes, are very easily read by most people. We (as well as other animals with their own kind) are experts as reading it. Even if we don't realize we do it, it's just automatic.





Also, most people have a type, certain characteristics, they are attracted to in the face of other people, even if they don't realize it. So when you see one that has it... %26lt;3 ; )
It's been said that the eyes are the window to the soul.
